What is SCM? SCM also known as Supply Chain Management, is the concept or a scientific approach, used in professionally managed manufacturing organizations. The technique uses proper checks to control the production of any product from procurement of Raw Material to production and then transportation to consumer end.
SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and SCM (Supply Chain Management) both are almost same and has a very thin difference between them in their Material procurement cycle. Both are used to manage relationship between Organization and Suppliers for uninterrupted material supply. SCM apart from SRM also has CRM facilities too for managing finish goods supply in the market.
